- Released July 3, 1968, "Waiting For The Sun" is the third studio album by the American rock band the Doors, Recorded from February to May 1968, It became the band's first and only No. 1 album, spawning their second US number one single, "Hello, I Love You". It also became the band's first hit album in the UK, where it peaked at No. 16 on the chart.

- First pressing on brown/gold/tan Elektra vinyl label. "Stereo" on the left hand side on the label in an elongated font.
Released in a (Unipak) gatefold sleeve cover, with brown Elektra inner sleeve.

Very clean "Big E" Elektra gold labels with no spindle wear or blemishes except for initials on one side.
Record Grading: (VG/VG+)
Record surface is bright and glossy with a few light hairlines and sleeve marks/scuffs...plays crisp and loud with light noise floor and occassional light crackle or soft tick during quiet passages.
Sleeve Grading: (VG+/EX)
Fully intact Unipak sleeve cover has light ring wear and corner wear with spine bottom shelf rub/bumps. Cover panels are smooth except for small indentation on front cover and retained their print color and lustre...well maintained 52 year old album cover. Spine is fully intact and completely legible.
