Description
ATTENTION THE DOORS,ELEKTRA LABELS AND 1970s AMERICAN PSYCHEDELIC/PROGRESSIVE ROCK GROUP ALBUM COLLECTORS!
HERE IS AN ORIGINAL 1971 1ST ISSUE OF THE DOORS ALBUM: "L.A. WOMAN". ISSUED ON THE EARLIEST DESIGN ELEKTRA LABELS WITH THE "BUTTERFLY" LOGOS.K 42090 WITH THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE A1/B1 MATRIXES.THE DISC IS VERY SERIOUSLY AND STRICTLY GRADED AS NEAR EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH SOME FAINT HAIRLINE SURFACE MARKS BUT ONLY SLIGHT SURFACE NOISE HERE AND THERE WITH THE MAJORITY OF THE DISC BEING MUCH NEARER TO EXCELLENT SO BID WITH TOTAL CONFIDENCE! THIS IS NOT AN OVER GRADED TRASHED AND THRASHED EXAMPLE!
INCLUDES THE EARLIEST AND USUALLY MISSING SPECIAL INNER SLEEVE AND THE OUTER COVER WITH THE PVC/"WINDOW" DESIGN THAT OFTEN TURNS UP WITH RIPS OR THE DELICATE PVC PART MISSING OR BADLY DAMAGED! APART FROM A STRIP OF SELLOTAPE TO THE INNER ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE AND A PART SPLIT DOWN ANOTHER SIDE AND A FEW MINOR CREASES TO THE COVER,THIS IS A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A GREAT ALBUM!
THERE ARE CLEAN LABELS WITH NO WRITING,RIPS OR MAJOR DEFACEMENT. PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS SHOWING THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE COVER,THE INNER AND BOTH LABELS! NOTHING TO HIDE! A REALISTIC £12 PRICE WITH MORE DOORS LPs AND OTHER ESSENTIAL ARTISTS LPs FROM ME ON EBAY THIS WEEK AND TO FOLLOW. PERSONAL COLLECTION IS WELCOME FROM MY SHOP IN NORWICH AT A MUTUALLY CONVENIENT TIME.
Over the years I have helped to add to the collections of many collectors and given my experience, I am aware of the titles that are GENUINE RARE ITEMS.
Now of course for those who are"chained"to the record collector price guide books, for whom I am one of the main consultants, the prices are still a SUGGESTION and as we all know ACTUAL prices SOLD can vary.
The sellers on ebay who continually put"listed"or "list price"on everything should be aware of this!!!!
This is my honest grading!!!
Please see my listening policy below.
I test on a lightweight pickup of approx 2 grammes and listen with the treble full on and no filtering or mono switch used.As both a collector and dealer,I AM VERY STRICT ON GRADING but DO CHECKOUT MY FEEDBACK FOR GRADING PROOF!!!!
Checkout my feedback of over 20,000 comments of my standards and service many from some of the world's most respected collectors and dealers.Always adding quality Records, cd's and related items to ebay several times a week.
