Description

A fascinating 4-song EP from The Drug Addix (formerly The Tooting Fruities) on the collectable Chiswick label (1978, it is notable for being the first record featuring the late lamented Kirsty McColl (credited here as Mandy Doubt).  Songs are: Gay Boys in Bondage (a parody from the Lou Reed school on seediness), Addington Shuffle, Special Clinic and Glutton For Punishment.  Hi-octane rhythm and blues / raunch and roll outfit who later shortened their name to The Addix and cut one further 45 on the Zigzag (as in the magazine) label.  Cute early artwork by the excellent Phil Smee (Bam Caruso / Strange Things) too.

I will shortly be listing a stack of rare UK and US punk, new-wave, post-punk and psych 45s, fanzines and flyers all from my own collection.
