Description
This vinyl has been professionally cleaned and comes with a quality anti static inner sleeve and poly outer sleeve for your albums protection. We use quality Lil packaging for the best protection of your album during transit.
The Eagles vinyl album Hotel California on Asylum Records. Complete with printed inner sleeve and poster, this is an original 1976 UK press with matrices:
K53051 -A1
K53051-B1
The vinyl visually is in VG condition with lots of hairlines from previous play - these are light and not feelable - there are no deep scratches or marks. Both sides played beautifully with no jumps or clicks. There was crackle at quiet moments, which is quite usual with this album, but nothing excessive and sound quality was nonetheless excellent. The labels are undamaged.
The outer gatefold sleeve has an unusual feature in that the inner gatefold picture is Mis-Printed upside down - this is not usual for this particular album, and information about this anomaly is scarce.
The gatefold is in VG+ condition due to a few small black dots on the front cover (please see photos) and a little minor edge and corner scuffing. There is no damage or tears and overall the sleeve looks nicely preserved and looked after.The spine is undamaged and fully readable.
The printed inner sleeve has easily repairable seam splits but is otherwise undamaged.
The poster is excellent.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
