Description
Original Capitol STEREO "The Early Beatles". Released 22 March 1965. Spizer version CAP 2309.SC1C and was manufactured at the Capitol Records Jacksonville, IL plant. The cover was manufactured at the east coast plant that Capitol subcontracted with to print their covers (located in NY city).
I accurately grade my records using a bright light so that the buyer knows exactly what they are receiving before they bid.
This copy is visually graded at VG+ (record and cover) using the visual grading standards of the Cox/Daniels "Price Guide For The Beatles American Records" (6th edition). See my various photos of the cover and record. A very nice copy for any Beatles collector.
The cover has no water stains, no mold, no tape, no writing, etc. There is a slight tear on the rear slick at the lower part of the cover likely where someone got tape stuck to the cover at some point and then peeled it off. Also, there is very minor wear to the front bottom corner seam and at the spine where the catalog # is located. From the front, the cover looks near mint, though.
The record has a scuff on one side and a small hairline scratch near it. Neither affects the playability (audio) and there are no skips or pops when played otherwise.
