THE EQUALS, Unequalled, original first issue UK 1967 President mono LP.
PTL 1006, original first issue UK 1967 yellow / black President mono record labels.
An original first issue UK 1967 mono copy in original condition, featuring:
1. The Equals, original first issue UK 1967 mono ‘debut’ LP,
2. original first issue UK 1967 issue yellow and black President, textured / ridged (outer rim) mono record labels, each label also features a deep groove seen just outside the spindle hole,
3. the records matrix on side one has been ‘factory etched’ onto the ‘run off’ groove, but on side two, the record matrix has, instead, been ‘hand etched’ onto the ‘run off’ groove,
4. the record features a ‘sharp outer edge’,
5. original first issue UK 1967 mono record made of the period quality, ‘thick heavy’ vinyl,
6. original first issue UK 1967 mono, front laminated, ‘flip back’ sleeve made of the period quality, ‘thick heavy’ card,
7. comes with its original plain white inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good+ condition, the spine has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. On the rear of the sleeve it features the original UK period, ‘tri flip back’, ie ‘fold over’ edges design. Theres NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period UK 1967 inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained very clean. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: side one, is in overall very good condition. Side two, there is a ‘mark’ that runs across the last 1/3 of track four, so I will grade here as being in ‘good’ condition, the rest of side two is in very good condition. The record is made from the period 1960s quality thick, heavy vinyl.
The records matrix are: side one - PTL 1006 – A, this is ‘factory’ etched onto the ‘run off’ groove, side two – PTL 1006 B, this is not factory etched but has been ‘hand etched’ onto the ‘run off’ groove.
the records ‘mother / stampers’ are - N/A.
THE AUDIO: side one, plays overall, very good, side one plays with some ‘crackle’. Side two, the last 1/3 of track four, I did hear some light ‘ticks’, so I will grade here as playing ‘good’, the rest of side two plays, overall, ‘very good’, side two also plays with some ‘crackle’. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
