Description
THE FACES LONG PLAYER Warner Bros 71 A2B2 WS3011 UK 1st pr LP EX WS3011
UK 1st press in stitched textured card sleeve - very desirable!
Also this sleeve has a sticker that has the later catalogue no. but it has the original 1 stamped on the sleeve so this must have left the factory as they were thinking of changing the no.
However, this is the original with the original catalogue no. on the sleeve & the record.
SLEEVE - few stitches have slightly become unstitched in top right hand corner of sleeve & generally nr EX condition,
LABELS are nr MINT to MINT condition & very very clean,
VINYL is EX condition & really clean, almost EX+ condition.
Plays with great audio throughout with no jumps or sticks, extremely minimal surface noise, very full bodied audio.
Lovely copy!
Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve. Item 1182"
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.
With a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du Son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The L'art du Son mix seems to smooth out any
brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
