Description
THE FALL "Are You Are Missing Winner" original picture disc vinyl LP UNPLAYED Mark E Smith
Numbered limited edition: 040 out of 1000.
This item has been sitting on my shelf, unplayed and not even taken out of its sleeve, since purchase in early 2002 (I think it came out shortly after the CD, which was released in late 2001). Basically it's new. It did not come in shrink-wrap, so there are a few very minor marks on the sleeve, but these were there when I bought it from the record shop. The ripples in the picture are on the plastic inner sleeve and are from having been stored vertically for a couple of decades: nothing to worry about!
The vinyl has never even been removed from its plastic inner sleeve, so obviously it has never been played. I therefore can't give a grade for the vinyl, but bear in mind that this is (a) a picture disc, and (b) a pressing on a tiny independent label, so don't expect it to sound like a modern 180gsm major label product! Personally I never intended to play it.
This has become an ultra-rare item and a major Fall collectors' piece. It is number 40 out of just 1000 pressed.
£9.50 postage for insured/signed-for Special Delivery, reflecting the value of the item.
