DARK SHADOWS
Meets THE THEREMIN
Here’s an odd little one-off single from that rare moment when the futuristic Theremin met the positively ancient Barnabas Collins (Dark Shadows) and we got a weird glimpse into the intersection with a little ditty called “The Barnabas Theme From Dark Shadows.” There doesn’t seem to have been an album to go along with this unusual record from February of 1969 which takes the theme song and mixes in some bongo percussion and some other odd, and compellingly hip, rhythmic devices.
Of course, it wouldn’t be half as special if it wasn’t in the completely wonderful sleeve AND it’s a STOCK COPY not the promo that shows up from time to time. Wonderful VINYL pressing here and minty fresh for you.
Tracks here are “The Barnabas Theme from Dark Shadows” paired with “Sunset in Serbia.”
