Description
I’ve decided to reduce my vinyl collection by putting up some of the children’s LPs of the cartoon characters I religiously watched as a kid. Most of them are very collectible for either nostalgic reasons (as in my case) or perhaps for collectors of vintage cartoon/animation-art memorabilia.

It is a MONO (monaural) pressing.

This LP features the voices of Mel Blanc, Alan Reed, Jean Vander Pyl and Bea Benadaret.

It is a Hanna-Barberra production (William Hanna and Joseph Barbera).

This Cartoon Show originally aired on ABC-TV and was a Friday night (8:30-9 p.m.) family-oriented hit television show. Fred Flintstone, his wife, Wilma, his neighbor and best friend Barney Rubble, and his wife Betty endeared themselves to the American public with their depiction of life as “a modern suburban family in the Stone Age”. “Pebbles” Flintstone and “Bam-Bam” Rubble, the children, came along later.

The front cover has GREAT IMAGES of Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty grilling a big dinosaur steak home is in the background. The rear cover has Fred and Barney playing golf using Fred’s dinosaur golf-cart, both couples gathered around the piano with Fred playing, and Fred mowing his yard with his dinosaur lawn-mower.

The rear cover has wonderful linear notes about the LP, the characters, their Stone Age lives, and the producers, Joseph Barbera and William Hanna.

The COVER is in VERY NICE VG CONDITION with light overall signs of wear. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO RING WEAR and NO TEARS on this cover. The front cover has GREAT COLORS! The primarily-white rear cover is quite clean with minor aging.

The VINYL is in NICE VG CONDITION with very light surface hairlines/scuffs (none “feelable”) and LOTS of GLOSS.
So, do you still remember the show’s theme song that began “Flintstones, Meet the Flintstones, They’re the Modern Stone Age Family...” and Fred’s “Yabba-Dabba-Do!” yell?
