Description
The Flos (Former Ladies Of The Supremes) "Wish U Love" double vinyl LP
Label: not on label (UK) Manufactured in UK in 2000
Original double LP in non-gatefold sleeve (item for sale as shown in photos)
Catalogue Number: no cat. number
Strictly limited (100 copies) fan-curated compilation, home manufactured as an act of genuine fandom, and then - in 2000 - given away on a peer-to-peer basis. Both the quality of the item and the tiny number produced showed this to be an act of slightly crazy adoration, plugging a hole in the then marketplace, never intended as a money-making exercise, and as such "Wish U Love" has become a cult item amongst fans of The Flos.
Needless to say the double LP very rarely comes on the market. (The last reference I can find to an actual sale is on Popsike which has a completed listing way back in 2003 - see http://www.popsike.com/THE-FLOS-WISH-U-LOVE-VERY-RARE-ALBUM/2548159377.html which also has some useful information on the track list).

For online discussion of "Wish U Love" the most informed site I've ever found is at - though the item is so little known that there's not much online:
