THE GAMES ( Francis Lai ) One of the RAREST S.T LPS - My experience has been that this is one of the most sought after of the non-Italian soundtracks.
The lp was released in 1970, on the VIKING label in the U.S.A. (The movie featured Michael Crawford, Ryan O'Neal, Charles Aznavour, Sam Elliott and others.) The VIKING record number is LSP-105 (STEREO). The vinyl disc is in LIKE NEW condition. The cover has a seam split at the bottom middle, some discoloration spots at the top and bottom, and the left corner of the jacket has been creased. Just above that crease there is some minor wear on the seam. As you can see from the pictures, these don't look as bad as they sound.( This one also has D.J. stamped on the back.)
The two songs, with music by Lai, have lyrics by HAL SHAPER. There is a mega-rare track on side one sung by the young ELTON JOHN, but identified as ELTON JOHNS....("From Denver to L.A."). The other song is called "Warm Summer Rain" and it is sung by THE BARBARA MOORE SINGERS).
