Description
THE GERMS Vinyl LP SR-103 1979 True First Pressing
This is the true first pressing of this rare LP album. Discogs describes it as, "First pressing in pasteboard-style sleeve (brown cardboard-colored inside, unlike later ones which are white inside) and with a two-sided lyrics insert instead of a printed inner sleeve." This LP does have the brown pasteboard sleeve and it does have the two-sided lyrics insert, which is in mint condition (see my pics). For further proof, the Side 1 runout is etched "SLASH-A" and the Side 2 runout is etched "SLACH-B" and the spine has no text as issued.
This LP is in excellent condition having never been played. I know this because I purchased it new in 1979 and only opened it to see the lyrics sheet. The vinyl is still super glossy with no scuffs, rubs or scratches. The cover does have slight storage rings and there is a small bump on the top spine corner. (See my pics)
It was produced by Joan Jett and is considered an essential album for any true punk collection. Don't miss out on this super nice example of THE GERMS.
Please be aware that I ship only to the 48 contiguous states - NOT to Alaska, Hawaii or any international countries.
