So, up for auction is the Ultra Rare original UK MONO WHITE LABEL VINYL TEST PRESSING of the Gods’ Genesis debut album that Columbia released - simultaneously with STEREO copies - in 1968 with Cat No SX 6286, Matrix Nos XAX 3676 - 1 G G 1 [A side] and XAX 3677 - 1 G G 1 [B side, both machine - stamped], pressed on thick quality vinyl and housed in an original 1st press 6810 TPS Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Patents Pending flipback laminated on front - ONLY sleeve!

This copy for sale is the original United Kingdom 1st press MONO WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING issue with 1st press identification MONO numbers. As this album was sold in absolutely tiny amounts, it was almost immediately deleted, with the fewer MONO copies being much rarer than the common STEREO ones - so, you can imagine what is like for a MONO WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING copy! This, difficult to find in ANY CONDITION and RARELY SEEN on eBay, wonderful record has become highly - prized by collectors of British psychedelia and devoted fans of Uriah Heep too, as organist Ken Hensley and drummer Lee Kerslake were founding members of the Gods! So, do not miss …

PS 1 To my knowledge, ONLY ONE Mono TEST PRESSING copy has been sold on eBay until now ? it was  ... 7 years [!!!!] ago today, on August of 2012 - an EX, according to the seller, with NO cover, just a plain white paper inner sleeve - for US $360.00! So, the starting price of this auction it is not coming out of nowhere…

PS 2 Sorry for the quality, but when you get something so rare, you take what you can get!

Before bidding, please take the time to read about my selling policy and shipping costs at the end of this listing!
