Description
THE GOOD THINGS - "A Long Long Time / How Good The Rain"
1969 Private issue Michigan 45rpm
(The Good Things were actually Roger Harcourt - former member of Band X and Lynn & The Invaders here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This single was recorded at the famed Midwestern Sound Studios, also here, where the classic Al Green single 'Back Up Train' was recorded. The engineer was Phil Roberts of the legendary Kingtones. Eucalyptus was his private label. I was at this recording session...and was asked to help out on an instrument, but I can't for the life of me remember just what I played. Those were crazy days. Top side is a smokin horn Soul dancer, flip side is a new version of the classic garage Band X single from a couple years before. EXTREMELY RARE single - not more than 500 pressed, if even 'that' many, and never serviced to radio. Roger gave me three copies, I have two left. I'm not sure I've ever seen a copy of this on Ebay before, except for the one I sold here last month.)
THE VISUAL CONDITION OF THIS RECORD IS VG+
(top side has a large scuff that looks rather nasty, but really has very little affect on play. listen for yourself - both sides are below in their entirety!)

NO 'BEST OFFERS' ACCEPTED
Continuing with the liquidation of my record collection passing them on to people who can more appreciate them.
These are items from my collection of nearly 40,000 promo singles, LP's & CD's from the 60's thru the 90's that I was
fortunate to acquire from doing 37 years of on-air Rock Radio.
All of my records are guaranteed original pressings unless otherwise noted.
These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades. Some carefully,
others were not. All of my gradings are visual, and more often than not, quite generous.
Just check my feedback. You can bid and buy with confidence.
MY GRADING SCALE
(very similar to the Goldmine standard)
NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me). There should be no audible distractions.
NM- (Near Mint minus): A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides that may be heard.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play fine.
Record grading is subjective. I offer a 100% money back guarantee on everything I sell.
