Description
This is an auction for a rare 45 by The Gospel Classics, More Love, That's What We Need- side 2- You Need Faith.
This was released by Chess Records in 1968 and has catalogue number CRS8080.
Condition: Both labels have spider spindle trails seen under closer examination, there is some picking to the centre hole on both sides. The vinyl has some visible dirt/dust patches and marks, there is also two long drag marks seen on side 1 and a few feather scratches seen under a very strong light.
I have played this through both sides and I am pleased to report it plays very well, some light crackles can be heard at the beginning of each side and in a few places through both sides. There is no consistant ticking or clicks indicating the scratches are completely non-audible and that the crackles heard are infact being caused by the marks. Given a good clean may infact see this play through even better. There is very little lessening in actual sound quality with the music itself playing strong through both sides with nice quiet fade outs at the end of each track.
As this stands graded at a comfortable VG with expected upgrade to VG+ when cleaned.
