Description
For sale is a rare example of Just Go For Me / I'M A Bashful Guy by The Groovers, and the rarelt seen Teri De label, LJS-002. Matrix: Side A: LJS-002-A PT and some other letters buried under the label. Side B: LJS-002-B triangle symbol 62676-X.
Condition:
Two magic marker "X's" on Just Go For Me Side label, otherwise labels are very clean. Vinyl rates a stellar NM. A superb example of this incredibly rare version on the Teri De label, which is a rather rather thick and heavy wax pressing.
From the estate of a DJ who ran a gospel/Christian radio station from his basement in the 1960s, when you could apparently do that sort of thing. He received tons of secular promotional 45s despite being a gospel outfit, which he impeccably kept in file cabinets in his basement. My grading system:
STILL SEALED : Jacket imperfections, if any, will be described. Vinyl guaranteed to be in unplayed condition.
M : I don't use this grade, on the assumption that no record or jacket is truly flawless.
M- : Vinyl appears unplayed, jacket bears no signs of wear. I rarely, if ever, use this grade.
NM : Like M-, with possible scintilla/whiff of an imperfection
VG++ : May have a couple very minor imperfections. (superficial marks that have little or no bearing on sound.) Jacket may have a couple very minor flaws.
VG+ : Like VG++, but with a few more light imperfections
VG : Several light imperfections, and possibly one or two more serious ones, such as small feelable scratches. Still plays well.
VG- : Will display numerous minor imperfections and/or feelable scratches that affect playback quality. Between you and me, you could do better.
GOOD : What I consider pretty poor... numerous major imperfections. I generally don't sell items in this range unless they are of major significance.
