THE HABIBIYYA If Man But Knew 1972 PROG FOLK Mighty Baby VINYL LP RARE
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Details:- From my own personal collection - original 1972 UK 1st pressing of If Man But Knew, by The Habbiyya, three members of Might Baby. Released on the Island label, catalogue no. HELP 7. The record comes in the original McNeill sleeve and the original inner picture sleeve
track list - two shakuhachis, the eye-witness, mandola, if man but knew, fana-fillah
Vinyl Condition:- VG Visually the record looks near mint but there is a some very soft background surface noise audible in quieter parts so I have graded VG. Still an enjoyable listen of this early chill-out album before chill-out was invented
Sleeve Condition:- VG+ A little light general wear and some partial ringwear at the top front
Label Condition:- EX

Grading Abbreviations
Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P)
The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
