Description

What a find. The Head's "Nothing To Do In A Town Like Leatherhead/University '79" in it's unique custom sleeve.

This is a much sought after piece of the punk/powerpop puzzle on its own but who knew there was a special stickered sleeve it was originally sold in? Take a look. Neatly done and crsisply packaged this copy comes with two purpose printed stickers that the band themselves must have put in place.

No other collector I know had seen this before. On the microscopic Elliejay label it is a cracking spikey farfisa-driven 45 recorded on the 17th November 1979 via a four track. This is one of those titles that seperates true aficianados of the era from the casual collector. Even then they might argue with you that it never came in a special sleeve...but here's the proof that it DID.

The vinyl is truly excellent mark-and scratch-free condition and the all important sleeve is as crisp and smart as the day when it was sold  almost thirty years ago.

Discoveries like this are getting scarcer and scarcer. So very few collections will have one of these.

This is truly a one off piece of original UK punk history.  The starting price is low and there is no reserve.
