Description
This is the original pressing of the first LP by The Heartbreakers (later released as being by Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers) called "L.A.M.F.", released in the UK in 1977 on Track Records as TRACK #2409-218. Track Records went under soon after this LP was released. This is the seminal punk record that came out in UK punk's early months where The Heartbreakers, feeding off of their connection to the New York Dolls, were welcomed as NYC street punks and as royalty. The LP looks mint to mint minus and plays between mint minus and VG ++ (the first two tracks are VG++ and the rest of the LP is mint minus). The jacket has a sticker visible in the picture here with the logo for Jem Records Imports (imported LPs came without outer shrinkwrap). Jem operated out of NJ and California and was the major importer of rock LPs in the late 70s (half of my punk records have this sticker). The cover is crisp with some minor age white flecks and a few abrasions in the black color (but not in the cardboard) along the bottom edge from putting the record on to a shelf. The record itself is in a plasticine-lined paper inner sleeve. Overall, the record is in very nice shape.
Buyer agrees to add $3.50 for Media Mail postage in the US (or can opt for $9 for Priority Mail postage) or $9 for Canadian postage or $15 for international airpost. The record will go out soon after payment is received. Thanks for looking and please write if you have any questions.
