Description
THE HEARTBREAKERS-L.A.M.F. 1977 TRACK RECORDS UK IMPORT LP 2409-218 IN A SOLID VG (cover)-STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! Johnny Thunders stepped away from the New York Dolls and gave one of the iconic examples of the underground of rock 'n' roll in this auction. Considered by many to be a direct forerunner to NYC punk, The Heartbreakers left nothing on the table. Cuts such as Born To Lose, I Wanna Be Loved, Chinese Rocks & Let Go all appear on this must own example of the birth of Punk. All fans of the Dolls, Thunders, Ramones or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light hairline on side 1 that definitely does not hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The cover is the bane of the auction as it is import flimsy, has a price tag half torn in the upper right front corner(see picture), moderate wear along the edges, moderate rubs on the corners and some light ring wear / aging front and back. The original inner sleeve is intact. A fantastic buy if you can live with the cover issues.
$3.50 freight. US sales only!!
