Superb very rare 45 by The High Keys. Songs are: "Living A Lie" b/w "Let's Take A Chance". Original U.S. DJ Promo on Verve Records #10423. Year: 1966. Condition is very strong VG- near VG (Living A Lie)/VG- (Let's Take A Chance"), writing/some wear on labels. Vinyl has several surface marks, surface scuffs, no deep gouges. There is a very tiny outer edge lift spot in lead in dead wax, not affecting play, nowhere near play grooves.(see third photo) . Quality vintage vinyl pressing plays very well, some background surface noise, most audible at very beginning intro, bit more so on Let's Take A Chance side. Music blasts loud above.

There is nothing more I can say about what this 45, two decidedly awesome examples of Northern Soul. IMHO one of the greatest Northern Soul 45s ever made.

Grading Scale:

10: Mint Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.

9: Mint- Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.

8: Excellent (VG++) Condition between 7 and 9.

7: VG+ Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.

6: VG Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.

5: VG- A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.

4: G Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!

3-2-1: It only goes down from here.
