THE HILLS / THE IN-BETWEENS (´66 / scarce orig. shared French EP / Barclay 70987 / flipback sleeve with laminated frontside / incl.: side 1 - THE HILLS: Juanita Banana / Fun // side 2 - THE IN-BETWEENS: Take A Heart / Little Nightingale / background info: The In-Betweens are the same band, that in the UK operated under the name The N' Betweens (obviously the British name with an apostrophé was unsuitable/too complicated on the continent); as most collectors will know, a few years later The N' Betweens first morphed into Ambrose Slade and later into Slade)

DESCRIPTION:
the small hole you can see in the right top corner isn´t a cut-hole, but the cover was manufactured with this hole, because it was originally sold with a banana key ring; in this case the key ring hasn´t only been removed, but the removal has been done without too much care and led to a small damage, as shown on the backside of the sleeve / the upper flipback has some further wear: for reasons, that are unknown to me, the flipback has slight discolourations, and on the left side there are two small abrasions (the abrasions are the parts, that haven´t become discoloured) / sticker on the right side at the bottom of the frontside / the sleeve has one further problem, that isn´t seen at first sight, but which will become a bit more obvious, if you hold the sleeve into the light in different angles: in 3 places, in the middle and at the bottom of the frontside (on the banana) and on the top of the backside there are/were writings - these writings have almost no colour, presumably the sleeve has been cleaned in those places. But what remains, is the fact, that the writings are more or less engraved into the sleeve / otherwise the sleeve is in a really nice condition: even on the white backside there´s only a very light trace of a ringwear, on the frontside the ringwear is almost non-existent (there is a certain "gap" between the two sides of the sleeve: due to the damage on the upper flipback I would grade the back sleeve between VG and VG(-), while the condition of the frontside is between VG+ and VG+) / the vinyl has some hairlines and slight surface scratches, but there are no deeper "real" scratches / the labels are cleanGUARANTEE:
