Description
Very nice copy of the original 1977 pressing of the soundtrack of the Hobbit animated movie by Arthur Rankin and Jules Bass, on Disneyland Storyteller Records 3819. The story and songs from the original soundtrack, with a beautiful storybook inside the gatefold cover. The songs are the original lyrics from Tolkien’s book sung by the great Glenn Yarbrough, and the speaking voices include Otto Preminger and Paul Frees. The disc is quite nice and plays near flawlessly. There are some light marks and superficial scuffs but they are not bad and do not affect the play. Maybe one or two stray light ticks but barely at all. Really a beautiful player. The cover has light signs of use, wjth some light edge and corner wear, and a small tear at the bottom of the spine (see photo). The booklet is partly detached but still in very nice shape with nothing missing. See photos. Really a nice copy that plays beautifully.
