This set of 4 LP records in mint condition, include an 8 page booklet with pictures of J.R.R. Tolkein and reader Nicol Williamson, track list/synopses; notes on the recording by Argo founder Harley Usill; and essay by producer Lissa Demetriou. This rare, eight-side version of 'The Hobbit' is one of the great spoken-word recordings of the past fifty years and a must-have for all lovers of Tolkien's classic.

 

Records are in mint condition, book is also near mint as shown in pictures with no dog ears on corners, and the box also looks great with a very small scuff mark on the top left corner.

 

Very rare, and a nice piece of history to own for yourself or children.
