Description
THE HOLLIES ‘BUTTERFLY’ ORIGINAL 1967 ALBUM SUPERB PSYCHEDELIA! GRAHAM NASH VGVG.
Please find below details of albums from an ongoing thinning out of my collection.
They are classic, sought after albums but mostly they don’t grade any higher than VG+, that is to say that they all have clear signs of wear but don’t have major defects. You can still listen to them with a great deal of pleasure. I have cleaned them all carefully but they may benefit from a deeper clean from a professional machine.
I do my best to grade realistically. Because of the number of albums the gradings are usually visual unless otherwise specified.
I have really positive feedback and can be viewed as a trusted seller. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries or if there are any problems. I package carefully and dispatch the day following the end of the auction.
I use Record Collector gradings for both vinyl and cover. Please make sure that you understand what they mean before you bid.
I'm not trying to make a killing on postage costs and am happy to combine postage up to a weight of 2kgs in the UK.

This one is the really beautiful 1967 album by the Hollies ‘Butterfly’ . You can see (and hear) them right in the middle of psychedelia and there are lots of great harmonies and superb production. It was Graham Nash’s final album before he left to join C,S,N and Y. It’s also a rare album and is an original pressing with the Garrard and Lofthouse cover and great colours in the group photo on the back.
The vinyl is relatively marked but this doesn’t really impact on the playback. It’s a bit crackly in the quieter passages but sounds great. I would grade the vinyl as VG. The cover is showing signs of wear after it’s 54 years and is worn with some marking. There’s a small tear in the middle front right. I’d also grade it as VG.
Happy Bidding!
