This record is in excellent condition. It has some spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or stains anywhere and the iconic Parlophone labels are still clean and bright. Overall the labels are in good shape with all text fully legible and no serious wear to the centre holes.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything remotely serious but do have a couple of small marks and some very faint surface lines visible in normal light. These are all very minor however and overall it is in very good shape for its age and still has a lovely lustre. So a used vintage record that has no serious scuffs, nasty marks or blemishes, has a lovely vivid gloss but has minor signs of use.
I play tested the record and it played well throughout and produced enjoyable audio of good quality. It lays flat, there is little to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is still of good quality with only a trace of light surface noise or interference occasionally audible. I heard this in the run in, between some songs and a little in the odd really quiet part but the majority is nice and clear. There are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks and I didn't note one pop throughout. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable audio experience with only very minor levels of interference or surface noise.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has mild wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is still all clearly legible. There are no tears or scuffs anywhere but there is age related grubbiness/discolouring and pen marks on the rear. There is also mild ring marks to both sides and also some creasing to the laminated front. There is also two faint pen indentations(name 'Mick') near the top edge on the front but these are very hard to see. Overall a solid sleeve but one that has age related grubbiness and pen marks to the rear as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original EMI inner which is in excellent- condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but has some age related creasing, discolouring and ring marks.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
