CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: EX/EXCELLENT(+); this has been completely play graded from start to finish and both sides played through beautifully with a bright clear audio. A superb crisp sound without a hint of distortion. Just VERY occasional light background crackle. The record played superbly well with very little interference at all. Fantastic audio throughout.
VINYL VISUAL: EXCELLENT(-); the record retains a nice sheen. There are some light superficial marks and hairlines under natural daylight. My bright LED torch showed up just some light paper scuffs and hairlines. The record looks very nice indeed overall and has clearly been well cared for. 
LABELS: NEAR MINT; both look superb; bright and clean with very little signs of use. Just the lightest hint of a tiny spindle mark and a touch of wear to the spindle hole. No scuffs, tears or writing. 
SLEEVE: EX/EXCELLENT(-); the front laminated flipback sleeve is in super condition. Bright and clean to the front with just the mildest hint of almost invisible ring wear and just a spot of very light laminate creasing. The rear looks good with a touch of age wear and a few small light marks + a very small light stain to the bottom right hand corner. 
'5-197' and 'Bought at Labuan, Borneo' is written very neatly in the top left hand corner (personally, I think this is a nice addition as it tells an exotic story of the record's past!). The flipbacks are all completely undamaged. The spine looks great with all text still clearly legible. Just very mild wear to the opening edges. Overall, it looks great.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself. 

 Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
