THE HONEYS SHOOT THE CURL RARE 60s SURF 45 BRIAN WILSON BEACH BOYS Capitol 4952
THE HONEYS 45
SHOOT THE CURL
backed with
SURFIN’ DOWN THE SWANEE RIVER
CAPITOL RECORDS # 4952
Original U.S. pressing of this great and hard to find Surf two-sider. The Honeys have been referred to as the female counterpart of the Beach Boys, and the “Surfin’ Down The Swanee River” side of this record was written by Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys. “Shoot The Curl” is an original song, co-written by band members Diane Rovell and Saundra Glantz.
VINYL: VG+ (Nice clean record with three visible scratches on the “Shoot The Curl” side. These are light and cannot be felt on the grooves. In and among themselves these scratches do not affect the play of the record. The rest of the record has a small amount of light scuffing and light surface scratching. The record plays with some surface noise and ticking but the music sounds strong. Each record label has the number 4 written on it twice.)
