This record is in excellent+ condition. It has quite a lot of spindle marks and rubbing on each label but no pen marks, stains or scuffs anywhere. There is some wear to the centres however which have loosened them a little but nothing drastic or at a level to cause problems. Overall the red and white Elektra labels are clean, bright and in good shape overall.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing remotely serious showing in normal light with just a few light lines and some minor signs of its age. These very light 'lines' and a few more incredibly light wispy lines are visible under very bright light but not loads and nothing remotely serious or sinister. The record has no serious scuffs, nasty marks or blemishes, has a lovely vivid gloss and its excellent considering its age.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded great throughout. It lays flat, there is next to no arm movement in the record arm and the sound produced is crisp, dynamic and very clear with minimal surface noise or interference audible. I heard a minor amount in the run and a touch between some songs but other than this little to nothing and overall the audio is excellent, clear and very enjoyable. There are no skips or sticks and no clicks or pops. Overall it was a pleasure to play test and produced very enjoyable audio throughout which was of excellent quality and clarity.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has wear and rubbing to the edges and corners(pics), but the writing along the spine is still all legible. There are no splits anywhere but there is quite heavy wear to the bottom and top edges. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and overall the sleeve is still strong all round despite the wear and rubbing to the edges. The sleeve is bright and looks very nice with no major other issues. There is some light creasing in places and also a little age related grubbiness or discolouring inside the gatefold. Overall a solid sleeve however with no major issues that is in good shape for its age but has the wear to the top and bottom edges as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original plain white poly-lined inner in very good condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but has age related discolouring, creasing and grubbiness. I will include the original but send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to make sure it remains clean and fresh.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
