THE INVADERS - Spacing Out
Duane Records 1102
Very hard to find original copy of this ultra-rare Funk LP on the obscure
Duane Records label (Duane LP 1102). There does not exist much information
about this private pressed record but you can be sure this is the deep deep
Funk! Some say the Invaders were a 70ies funk outfit from the Bermudas,
others claim it was a band of Americans jamming in Europe in the late 60ies.
All the tracks are instrumental with funky percussions and flute, a nice
Latin touch and psychedelic echo-sounds. Includes two versions of the
classic Isley Brothers 'It's my Thing' tune and a version of the Meters'
Monstertrack 'Look a Py Py'! For DJ's playing that heavy ass funk and lovers
of raw breakbeats like the sound of the Desco / Daptone labels from New
York, this one is for you!

This record is nearly impossible to find, especially in this condition. I
auction It from my personal collection, because I didn't listen to it very
often and not anymore.
Catalogue number 1102 on sleeve, 1101 on label and vinyl.
The record is the original release in top condition, no bootleg edition!
Vinyl VG/VG+ / a slight scratch on the b-side that does not affect playing
and cannot be heard.
Cover VG+ with slight ringwear on the backside, small stickers on back-cover
and on label. Graded on Goldmine scale. Ask for more photos if you need.
The record will be taken out of it's cover and packaged really well before
mailed. Buyer pays shipping with optional insurance.
