Description

THE ISLAND ILLUSTRATED DICTIONARY - CCS Advertising Associates (1972?)

Happy to present (from my own collection) this very rare industry advertising booklet which I’m guessing is from the first half of 1972 as it details predominantly the ILPS releases and the latest catalogue entry in here seems to be Sandy Denny’s ILPS 9207 release from that year. It also details the first releases on the then new Chrysalis label as well as some Bronze releases and the first of the HELP series. It’s a lovely design of 32 pages, 7x6 inches with full colour illustrations for each letter and pictures of the sleeves for each of the Lps featured.

It’s in all round excellent condition having been kept under plastic for many years - free from stains and any appreciable handling marks. There’s just a light, soft crease to the front and a corner crease to the rear bottom left. Other than that in SUPERB condition with all the inner pages looking next to new. Printed by William Caple & Co. Ltd UK.

VERY RARE Island artefact. Not many around. Add to your collection today!
