THE ISLEY BROTHERS  FT FIGHT  THE POWER  THE HEAT IS ON VINYL RECORD
The Heat Is On is the thirteenth studio album by American soul and funk group The Isley Brothers, released June 7, 1975 on T-Neck Records and Epic Records. Written and produced entirely by the group, the album was recorded in 1975 at Kendum Recorders in Burbank, California. The group implemented many acoustic and electric instruments during its recording, including guitar, piano, and synthesizer. Primarily a funk and soul outing, The Heat Is On features musical elements of quiet storm and rock music, and it is divided between uptempo funk songs and subdued smooth soul-ballads.

The Heat Is On!! Made in 1975, every male artist since this album has tried to duplicate it. Every R. Kelly song you can hear a taste of "The Heat Is On". This album has everything. The obvious best love song of all time "For The Love Of You" ( the quentesential two-step cha-cha song) the for lovers only Sensuality Parts 1 & 2 an oten overlooked song by the Isley Brothers but arguably their best slow Jam after For The Love Of You. Then there is "Make Me Say It Again Girl" which picks up where For The Love of You and Sensuality left off. And then the main song of the album which is not even a slow jam. It is the militant yet funky dance groove "Fight The Power" I have had two 70's Old School parties and "For The Love of You" and "Fight The Power" are often the most requested songs. Whenever you here the beginning of For The Love of You you know it's time to GROOVE and everyone gets up on the floor and starts to do the original cha-cha or two step and it just makes you feel good even to this day.  -Album Review

Hmm Huh Hoo hoo hey baby  I'm looking for you  Drifting on a memory  Ain't no place I'd rather be  Than with you, loving you  Day will make a way for night  All we'll need is candlelight  And a song soft and long, well  Glad to be here alone  With a lover unlike no other  Safe to see a new horizon  Slowly coming into view  I wanna be living for the love of you  All that I'm giving is for the love of you  Lovely as a ray of sun  That touches me when the morning comes  Feels good to me, my love and me  Smoother than a gentle breeze  Flowing through my mind with ease  Soft as can be well when you're loving me  Love to be Riding the waves of your love  Enchanted with your touch It seems to me  We can sail together in and out of mystery  -For The Love Of You Song Lyrics
