The Iveys - 'Maybe Tomorrow / And Her Daddy's A Millionaire'. APPLE 5
The Iveys 1968 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Maybe Tomorrow / And Her Daddy's A Millionaire' 7" single. Released on the 15th November 1968, it is offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT+ condition. This example has the very earliest 1G/1G stampers to both sides making it one of the very first few pressed.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the Apple Records label both sides feature the Sold in UK....' text. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the a-side label. The vinyl is housed within the original Apple Records sleeve. Shortly after the release of this single The Iveys changed their name to Badfinger. One of the very rarest UK Apple releases to obtain, this completely failed to chart back in 1968.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. APPLE 5 A-1 1 G KT
Side 2. APPLE 5 B-2 1 G KT
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
