The Jam
Here we have a one-off extremely rare genuine promo item, issued by Polydor records to promote the release of the Jam 'Live at the BBC' collection from 2002.
- Replica miniature black Rickenbacker. In original box - overstickered/pasted over with the Jam at the BBC artwork. The box is approx 28cm in lenth. Tagged and including display stand.
- 3 unmastered acetate promo CDs of the three disc version of the released album in PVC sleeves with printed paper inserts - Catalogue numbers 589690-2.
- Unique 15 track promo CD - "A Selection From the Jam at the BBC" in full colour card sleeve. Catalogue number JAMBBC1
- 4 x promo postcards for the album release.
As I understand, only half a dozen of these were sent out to various radio producers and retail buyers, so these are as rare as hen's teeth.
CDs are mint as is the Rickenbacker. The adhesive used to oversticker the box has started to yellow somewhat and there are one or two creases to the box - which has been in storage since I obtained the item at time of issue. One of the four postcards is a little creased. Only ever really seen the light of day when taking these photos.
