Description
THE JAM
Pop Art Poem/Boy About Town (Alternate take)
Mega-rare white label hard vinyl 7" pressing
You are bidding on an extremely rare & collectible hard vinyl pressing of The Jam's Pop Art Poem c/w Boy About Town (Alternate take).
Back in 1981 the new magazine Flexipop gave away a Jam flexidisc (LYN 9048) in issue no 2, containing the above tracks. Readers could then obtain a hard vinyl version by collecting 4 tokens from the magazine. I duly collected my tokens & obtained the white label one-sided vinyl, which is still in mint condition.
I have never seen another one of these for sale, although it is listed here in this rarest Paul Weller collectibles page:
http://eil.com/shop/presetlist.asp?pageID=737&artist=WEL:BFX:DCL:STY:JAM:&artistname=Paul-Weller
It is also cited here:

Please check my 100% feedback & bid with complete confidence. The item will be sent to the winning bidder by Royal Mail's 1st Class Recorded Delivery. There is no reserve price - happy bidding & good luck!
