THE JAM The Gift LP 1982 1st Press + INNER & OUTER BAG

	£		38
	$		50

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Jam called 'The Gift' and is an ORIGINAL 1982 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Custom' Polydor label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE JAM'S RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'OUTER BAG' & INNER SLEEVE!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - ALL 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS (LATER ONES DIDNT!) CAME WITH AN INNER SLEEVE & 'OUTER BAG'!!!!  AND WHILST MOST 1ST PRESSINGS STILL TURN UP TODAY WITH THE INNER SLEEVE - THE 'OUTER BAG' IS NEARLY ALWAYS MISSING, OR BADLY DAMAGED.  THE 'OUTER BAG' THAT WAS ORIGINALLY SUPPLIED WITH THIS LP WAS ULTRA FRAGILE AND MADE OF NOTHING MORE THAN THIN PAPER!!!!  IT HAD NO MORE STRENGTH THAN ANY AVERAGE 'PAPER BAG' AND WAS PRONE TO SPLITTING & TEARS EVEN BEFORE BEING DELIVERED TO THE RECORD SHOP!!!!  AND THEN ANY BUYER FACED THE SEVERE CHALLENGE OF OPENING THE OUT BAG WITHOUT SPLITTING IT!!!!  MOST BUYERS OF COURSE, HAD ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST IN PRESERVING THE 'OUTER BAG' - AND SIMPLY RIPPED THE OUTER PAPER BAG STRAIGHT OFF THE COVER, THREW IT AWAY, AND PLAYED THE RECORD TO DEATH!!!!  BUT THIS NEVER HAPPENED WITH THIS LP - BECAUSE THE 1 PREVIOUS OWNER WAS AMAZINGLY CAREFULL!!!!  HE CAREFULLY PEELED OPEN THE BAG AFTER HE GOT THE LP HOME, AND TOOK GREAT CARE NOT TO DAMAGE IT IN ANY WAY!!!!  HE THEN NEATLY FOLDED IT AND TUCKED IT INSIDE THE COVER - WHERE IT STAYED COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED FOR 26 YEARS, AND WAS NEVER TO BE REMOVED AGAIN UNTIL I TOOK THE PICTURES FOR THIS LP TODAY!!!!  AS A RESULT IT HAS RETAINED ITS ORIGINAL PERFECT COLOUR (WITH NO YELLOWING!) AND HAS ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE AT ALL!!!!  IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO FIND THIS LP 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS 'OUTER BAG' IN ANY CONDITION - BUT TO FIND ONE WITH AN 'OUTER BAG' IN THIS AMAZING CONDITION IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE REST OF THIS LP IS ALSO IN SUPERB CONDITION - WITH AN AWESOME INNER SLEEVE, AN INCREDIBLE CONDITIONED COVER, AND A STUNNING BARELY PLAYED RECORD!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1982 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'CUSTOM' POLYDOR LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'PICTURE/LYRIC' INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS COVER, AND IMPOSSIBLY RARE 1ST PRESS 'OUTER PAPER BAG'!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK Polydor 1st Pressing from 1982 and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is POLD 5055 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Custom' Polydor label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 70s/80s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 absolutely ULTRA light hairline trace (only visible under the most EXTREME light possible!), only 1 absolutely MEGA light scuffline (IMPOSSIBLE to see!), and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Picture/Lyric' inner sleeve which is in absolutely AWESOME condition and EXACTLY 'as bought' back in 1982!!!!  The 1st Press Cover is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  The IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'Outer Paper Bag' is in SUPERB condition with NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, NO rubbing (apart from 1 TINY ultra faint touch!), barely ANY creases AT ALL (apart from where mentioned above), NO yellowing, only 2 or 3 absolutely TINY 'residue' traces on the EXTREME top edge (where it was ORIGINALLY sealled back in 1982 - and ALL 'Outer Bags' have this without exception!), NO 'fraying', NO writing, and PERFECT colour!!!!  The 'Outer Paper Bag' MUST grade FULL Excellent if not Excellent+ - and is simply IMPOSSIBLE to find like this!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
