THE JET LINERS - At The Taj Mahal Bombay (India Columbia 5016) 1969
Incredible Indian original 1st Press on Black/Blue Columbia Label of this amazing Female/Male vocal Beat Pop/Rock nightclub act from Sri Lanka. Cool Farfisa Organ, loungy Beat, jangly Lead and Rhythm guitar. "Black Is Black" "Respect" "Walk On By" "Born Free" Wooly Booly" "Balla Balla" and more... From the amazing cover to the unique sounds within this is a very special LP and this copy was used for the recent Reissue and as far as I know It's the only original copy ever being offered so please bid accordingly!
Flimsy flipback cover is completely intact and very presentable but has a small tear mid right at opening and some general seam wear. Gets a VG. Record has some marks , scuffs and gets a nice visual VG also although playback is very strong with minimal occasional back ground noise. For a late 60's LP from India this is probably as good as it gets!
