Description
THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE "ELECTRIC LADYLAND" 2LP TRACK 613008/9 (UK 1968)
BLUE TEXT with LARGE PHOTOS of Mitchell and Redding.
Autoplay format i.e.Side A coupled with Side D, Side B with C.
Due to the variations in matrix numbers out there, I have tried to show them as accurately as possible:
Side A: 61300##8 A//1 12 5
sssss h ssss ss s
Side B: 61300#9 A #//1 12 1
sssss h h sss ss s
Side C: 613009B ######### //1 1 1
hhhhhhh sss s s
Side D: 61300#8 B//1 12 1
sssss h ssss ss s
Key: # = scored out by hand / s = stamped / h = etched by hand
Only its second owner (I bought this 30+ years ago from a work colleague, an avid collector, who purchased it new at time of its release), I've looked after it carefully, in a smoke-free home.
Discs are in overall better than very good condition, with some spindle marks and only a few light surface marks. It has clearly been played throughout its 50 years but handled with care. I no longer have a turntable (sold here about a year ago) so was unable to check it for this listing but I do not recall any issues in play of all sides.
The fully laminated sleeve is overall near mint though the laminate has small cracks on the internal fold. The external spine is unworn. Very mild rings marks and a few small creases on the front cover and its other (left) side. There is a small indent on the top of the rear cover. Additionally, its inner edges have old tape marks where a poly outer which was taped in has been carefully removed (a habit of mine, for most of my collection; the plus side is that the external condition of the sleeve has been better preserved, given its age). No original inners.
I'll post in a sturdy mailer, with Mobile Fidelity Original Master anti-static inners and a heavy duty poly outer.
Check out my listings for other collectable LPs, mostly jazz at this time e.g. Charles Mingus and Gil Evans. I'll be listing more Hendrix in due course so keep ay eye out.
P&P is at cost. I'll combine for multiple purchases, in which case please request an Invoice before payment.
