Description
Here's another LP from my own collection, which I have lovingly cared for over nearly five decades. This double album is particularly poignant to me because I bought it via mail order and Jimi died before I received it.
Cover - in very good condition, of course with some inevitable signs of use and wear, which I have shown in the photos. There is a little de-lamination in two of the corners and along the top front edge, also a few instances on the right front. The edges of the openings show some wear, also the two corners of the spine.
Disks - excellent, virtually pristine. There is a barely noticeable area of about 2 sq cm on one disc where the plastic liner of the inner sleeve has made a wavy surface mark. Also a 3cm superficial fingernail scrape. Neither affects playback quality, which is as good as it was when I bought it, as far as I can tell. I have taken clear photos of the matrix numbers, as I'm aware this is important information for some collectors.
Labels - as new, apart from very minor spindle marks.
Inner sleeves - both plastic lined and original, on which I have neatly written the track timings (something I regularly did if they weren't already shown on the disk or cover). Some mild browning and creasing of the paper.
