Description

Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by The Killers - Hot Fuss. A UK pressing in light blue marbled vinyl, it was issued by Lizard King Records in 2004 and bears the catalogue number LIZARD011X.

I must admit that it’s difficult to find clear information relating to the various incarnations of this record. As far as I can tell there were 2000 copies pressed in light blue marbled vinyl, of which some were individually numbered but not all. This one is not numbered but I believe that it is a genuine and original. It bears all of the identifiers below, which I offer along with pictures by way of guidance. Flat against a surface the record simply looks light blue but the marble effect is much more apparent and striking when held up to the light

Identifiers
Barcode - 5060073770106
Matrix / Runout - A-Side - Etched - LIZARD-011X-A-1 COLD-T
Matrix / Runout - B-Side - Etched - LIZARD-011X-B-1
Credits printed on the rear of cover.

Vinyl Condition
Visually Excellent - The record is bright and clean and there are no scratches or obvious surface marks.

Playing performance is Very Good+ - I’ve listened all the way through and can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking, although the odd light click may be heard. There is a little background crackle/noise which is mainly noticeable during track breaks and quieter moments. However, this is a largely rocky affair and for the most part such issues are lost behind the onslaught of sound. Minor marks to the B-side label when angled against the light.

Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good - Original picture cover with a little creasing/disc impression across one corner. There is a small abrasion to the front panel. Plain white die-cut inner sleeve is excellent and almost certainly the original.

The track listing is …

A1 - Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine
A2 - Mr. Brightside
A3 - Smile Like You Mean It
A4 - Somebody Told Me
A5 - All These Things That I've Done
B1 - Andy, You're A Star
B2 - On Top
B3 - Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll
B4 - Believe Me Natalie
B5 - Midnight Show
B6 - Everything Will Be

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs. See About Me for further general despatch information.
