Yes yes, this is the LEGENDARY debut single from the Las Vegas kings of epic, witty rock n roll! Pressed on to luscious milky white vinyl, this 7" was issued on a SUPER LIMITED run of 500 only!
Quite strange to look back on this without wondering why 'Smile Like You Mean It' was the B Side! Not that 'Mr. Brightside' is a bad introduction to a group, but it seems the band realised the diamond sharp gem of a single they had with 'Smile' and re-released it as the 'A' side in 2005 to promote 'Hot Fuss.' In essence what we have here is a Killer (sorry) double A side!!
CONDITION OF VINYL/SLEEVE: NEAR MINT -. As I do not grade anything which is not sealed as 'Mint,' 'Near Mint' is my highest grading for any record which is not sealed! I've played this record once, but there are NO signs that this 7" has been graced by a needle! The playing surfaces of both sides are beautiful to look at, with no needlewear and no scratches interfering with the grooves. I have kept the record in a PVC sleeve with a paper inner; there is one detectable paper scuff from getting it out the inner which, obviously, DOES NOT SOUND! I only mention this because it is there and to give you the full picture. Most sellers wouldn't even mention this! (I know from experience!) The vinyl is really stunning! The SLEEVE is comparable to the vinyl, with no blemishes or scuffs or wear. You can get an idea from the photographs provided: the sleeve is AS NEW. No grime, no tears, and the card is still stiff and shiny. YOU WILL LOVE this record! I will start this single LOW and with NO reserve!!! Check out my other listings for Killers and indie stuff!
