Description
Here is a super hard one to find. This is JAX 314 The Kings featuring Bobby Hall on red vinyl probably released in the early to mid 1950's. I believe the A side is "I Love You Baby" which is a great jump blues. The flipside is "Why? Oh, Why" which is a doowop blues ballad. Both tunes are great with fantastic harmonies hot guitars and sax licks.Both sides are VG condition. There are light scratches and light surface noise which is not really a factor on the jump blues. The surface noise can be heard more on the ballad. The fidelity is still great. There is a slight warp that does not cause any skipping even on my very light tracking tone arm. A very nice rare piece. I could not find a reference for this record in any of my guides. As always, a low starting bid and no reserve. It's an auction baby, let's have some fun!
