The Kingsmen, Vol.II.

Original 1964 UK pressed Pye International Records mono LP, NPL.28054.

Earliest issue with dark pink paper labels. A2/B3 matrix suffixes, with the 3 being etched over an existing 2.

Vinyl in visually VG condition. The labels are bright and clean and show just a few spider trail marks around the spindle areas. The playing surfaces still have a good gloss but display a fair few superficial hairlines and scuffs as well as some gentle scratches. There are no heavy or deep marks however.

Playback is actually very clean and easily grades as a solid VG plus. There are some occasional light ticks and spots of crackle, but these are low volume and infrequent. The surfaces are underlyingly quiet and free of background noise and the LP still provides a generally excellent listening experience.

Note that any dark marks to the vinyl surface in the photo are merely reflections.

Inner sleeve is original Pye advertising other LPs and is in generally EX condition, Still bright and without browning and no marks or seam splits.

External sleeve a fairly solid VG with no major flaws. Front panel is clean and unmarked. A few minor laminate imperfections, which are nowhere near as prominent as the photo might suggest, as these tend to catch the light. Predominantly white rear panel a little darkened to extremities and with some handling smudging. A small red pen mark to centre of left hand edge. A few pinch line marks leading in from edge areas, some of which have taken on a little browning. Slight ringwear impression to front. Edges still in good order with just one or two minor whitening spots. Spine in good shape and no seam splits. Entry side slightly dinged but still acceptably crisp and not feathered.
