Description

Up for sale is my personal original 1969 copy of The Kinks British Rock Classic: Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire). This is a USA first pressing with the two tone Reprise label. This includes the Queen Victoria art insert with the lyrics on the back of it and the original printed Reprise inner sleeve. The record has been very carefully handled and played on decent equipment over the years. This is a great sounding record!

The record is in really nice shape with nice gloss and only a few ultra fine scuffs/hairlines visible when viewed under a strong light. I would grade it V++/NM-. The gatefold jacket is in VG+ condition with a bit of very light surface wear and some edge wear. The edges of the cover are solid with no splits The inner sleeve is excellent with no edge splitting or rips. The Queen insert is NM. Please see the photos for details of the condition, as this an important extension of the written description.

From a no smoking environment. I will package this very securely for shipping. The album will be shipped with the disc removed from the jacket and original inner sleeve and placed in a separate inner sleeve, to prevent splitting in shipping.

Sold “AS IS”. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
