Description

THE KINKS 'ARTHUR OR THE DECLINE & FALL OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE' 1969 STEREO LP ON THE PYE  RECORDS LABEL NSPL 18317, A-1*T, B-1*T MATRIX NUMBERS.

The vinyl has some light surface marks and a couple of small scratches. It plays very well but there is some light surface noise throughout. It grades as very good.

The labels have my initials 'JED' stamped on in blue and have considerable spindle marking.

The one side glossy laminated sleeve is intact but has considerable edge damage to the spine and top and bottom edges. It has laminate creasing and lift. There is visible ring wear and a small stereo sticker on the back. In five places my initials 'JED' have been stamped in blue. The 'Victoria' cut out and printed lyric insert is in very good condition with creasing on the tab and a couple of my initial stamps in blue lettering.

Track Listing Record One: VICTORIA, YES SIR NO SIR, SOME MOTHER'S SON, DRIVIN', BRAINWASHED, AUSTRALIA.

Record Two: SHANGRI-LA, MR CHURCHILL SAYS, SHE BOUGHT A HAT LIKE PRINCESS MARINA, YOUNG AND INNOCENT DAYS, NOTHING TO SAY, ARTHUR.

This is my favourite Kinks album and consequently has been played and enjoyed many times.

Please note: All vinyl records are graded according to the UK Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide. They are visually graded and all records are play tested. Vinyl graded first then cover.
Records are packed securely complete with stiffeners, vinyl is removed from sleeves before packing to avoid seem splitting during transit, the vinyl and sleeves are always sent in polythene sleeves for extra protection against water damage.
