Description
I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.
THE KINKS Apeman/ Rats UK DEMO 1970 1st Press 1970 PYE 7N.45016 Banned
Here we have a very rare original UK DEMO of THE KINKS' soon to be censored/ banned by many radio stations (due to the expletive in the line "the air pollution is F£*%ing up my eyes"), Apeman!
A fantastic piece for anyone's collection, DEMOs are fantastic things, but all the better when it's for a single that was banned/censored on many radio stations!
Record Condition: VG plenty of light surface marks, mainly withdrawal style hairlines, but absolutely nothing "feelable", and the audiois very strong. The previous owner has etched their name into the deadwax.
Labels Condition: VG/VG+ Really nice and garish Yellow UK PYE DEMO labels , sadly this means that they show up any imperfections very clearly, but actualy apart from a little handling discolouration, and a few rubs and "JIMI"being neatly written on the B-side and incredibly faintly on the A-side, these labels are really nice. The four prong central disc still holds solidly also. Lovely!
