Description
THE KINKS Arthur Or The Decline and the Fall Of The British Empire 1st UK MONO PYE LP NPL 18317
Complete with Rare Insert
A rare and collectible vinyl LP by The Kinks, titled "Arthur Or The Decline & Fall Of The British Empire" and released in 1969 on Pye Records. The record speed is 33 RPM. It comes in a cardboard sleeve and has both the record grading and sleeve grading as Good (G) but as I do not know how to properly grade records I have taken a cautious approach. The album features a rock opera style with elements of 1960s British Invasion, pop, rock and psychedelic genres.
The LP is a must-have for any vinyl record collector or a fan of The Kinks. It is a great addition to any music collection and a piece of music history from the 1960s. The album showcases the band's talent and creativity, and is a testament to their place in the music industry.

Brought this record back in 1969 when I was 17 years old, now 72 and for the last 40 years it has been in loft storage along with my other records
Really now need to start minimising, reluctant to let my records go but hopefully someone will get some pleasure from playing this record as well as adding it to their collection
No idea how to grade this record, neither of the vinyls have been played for at least 40 years or more. They both look to be in a good condition, cannot see any evidence of scratches.
The laminated cover has been protected by a plastic sleeve but does have some minor wear to its edges. The paper & plastic sleeve which hold the vinyl is in a good condition although it does have some browning due to age. The pull-out Queen Victoria sheet containing the wording of the songs does have a small tear on one edge. On that basis I would consider the this item as good to very good
Please closely study the various pictures I have included as they form part of the description.
The record will be securely packed and sent Royal Mail Tracked 2nd Class
