Released in 1969, I am offering today this rare and complete MONO first pressing of this stunning concept album from THE KINKS which is titled "ARTHUR OR THE DECLINE AND FALL OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE". The vinyl looks extremely clean some sellers would say near mint as it is a very clean example and plays beautifully with excellent MONO audio and sounds very different to the stereo mix, if being critical there is a touch of light background on occasion.

This album comes with its original Garrod & Lofthouse fragile outer laminated gatefold sleeve which is clean with no splits creases or stickers etc, usually you find these sleeves are very worn due to their fragility. This is an excellent example with fully legible spine but shows a touch of laminate lifting still better than 90% of what you see offered these days.

The album comes complete with its rare original Queen Victoria fold out lyric insert. These tend to go missing but this is present and in pretty clean condition with its pull tag still attached.

The VINYL, The Vinyl is in excellent condition retaining a full gloss plays great with no sticks or skips etc. 

The SLEEVE, The Garrod & Lofthouse outer laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. No splits or stickers etc and the spine is fully legible but there is a touch of laminate lifting to the front.  

The LABELS, The labels are very clean. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The generic inner is clean and free from any unwanted writing etc.

The INSERT, The rare Victoria lyric insert is present and has its pull tab still attached.

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
