THE KINKS
FACE TO FACE Pye 66 A1B1 1st pr Stereo LP EX/EX
NSPL18149
Lovely condtion 1st pr LP with stunning audio.

Original front laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in EX condition.
Please note the small sticker that would have the stereo code
on the rear has fallen off, although you can still see trace
s of the sticker which would have replaced the MPL with NSPL.
However this is a small detail that I would personally overlook.
Generally the sleeve is in EX to EX+ condition.

Labels are very very nr EX with a few faint spindle marks,

Vinyl is very very nr EX to EX visually a few paper withdrawal marks.
Plays with breathtaking audio throughout with minimal
surface noise with little or no musical distortion
and no jumps or sticks or nasty clicks.
Its a real pleasure to listen to especially in stereo.

This LP was originally meant for export only and is very rare.
The record collector price guide price is £225.
Item 68.

the record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable fitted with a goldring stylus , listened to through full range handmade wilmslow audio transmission line speakers that have superb response and definition on all frequencies

For accurate grading  visual and play grade (like all my records)

this record has been professionally cleaned using an

okki nokki cleaning machine

( 1st clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and

finished off with L’art du son / purified water mix

the alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have from the manufacture stage , this hides detail in the sound

the l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness the alcohol water mix
